I am truly wondering how a runner left of the line, with the position player being well left of that, would interfere with the play. I am more confused why you think that would chase the player to throw it further right
Look here, why in gods earth would the purple dot think, “I NEED TO THROW THIS FURTHER RIGHT!!!”
Look at the straight line. It’s wide open. The further right you go the more you bring the runner into play. He just choked the throw

I would be really surprised if Milazzo had the time to sit there and think about the “Physics” of that play. It doesn’t matter where the throw went. What matters is it interfered with his ability to throw.
What’s your thoughts on the physics of this play?
