You're an avid runner and don't know about bleeding ripples?
Others have mentioned bandaid, aquaphor, Vaseline, etc. I prefer this method:

I just run. I’m not trained or anything and am learning as I go along.
That guy in the green shirt looks as fake as frick. From my three experiences, the blood steak will begin at the pointy part of the nipple. It won’t go above that. Your dripping sweat will make the blood gravitate down. It also won’t be a strong red color, as it will be diluted by your sweat.
