Sure. Protection will vary because metal framed houses with metal roofs are not directly designed to protect against CMEs but they can offer some protection for your electronics.
That's why you are protected from lightening in your car. It's not the rubber tires. It's the metal frame around you that protects you from lightening.

Seems we don't need a hostile rogue state actor to bollox electronics earthwide. Whether it's due to divine intervention, or natural events, or a malicious state or paramilitary rogue actor, an EMP disruption appears inevitable.
