NOLA correct ? Been to his N.O. house dozens of times and a HS classmate of his son who lives in BR. For his son's b-day parties, Mr. Pettit would drive us to BR, we would have lunch, and then go watch an LSU basketball game. Great family and very genuine, down to earth. As a teenager, I was in awe at all the basketball memorabilia from Mr. Pettit ... team jerseys, MVP awards, plaques, basketball nets, pictures with BB legends, signed basketballs, trophies, NBA HOF trophy, etc .... His trophy room was small and simple, just taking up one side of a wall in an upstairs play room, nothing extravagant.
