Hawks get BI and Larry Nance

Nets get Capella and Hawks lottery protected 1st

Pels get Murray, Isaac, Finney-Smith, S&T Claxton, Hawks 1st, 2 Magic 2nds.

Would 100% do that.

ETA: I don't think the Hawks would do that trade if they had to give up 2 firsts, but I would be okay including a first from us and only having the Hawks give up a protected 1st.

The Hawks are giving up Dejounte Murray (and Capella) and they are the ones giving up 2 picks?

What?

This would require at least a pick or two going out on our end. We are raping everyone else

-Hawks giving up too much

-This doesn’t make sense for the Nets

-I do think the Magic should be interested in CJ. If we are able to somehow get Claxton, I’d rather Carter than Isaac. Cheaper contract, signed for next year, healthier, and can stretch the floor some. The playoffs really showed Isaac’s limitations, especially on the offensive end of the floor. Having Claxton, Isaac, and Zion as your big rotation really limits the spacing.

With that said, I’d love to see what we could do with Isaac or Claxton. We should be utilizing Vinson’s ability more and take on guys like Isaac to rehab their value by fixing their shots. It’s the one unique advantage the pels have over other teams in the league and we really need to start leaning on it more.
