Just to clarify, does the guide service you work for not include fishing gear with the charter? It sounds like that is the arrangement. How much is the 'gear rental,' and what does that include?

$10 per day, includes a hook and cork, $40 to have it cleaned after they dunk it while determining depth, replacement rod tips when they break them reeling a fish to tip, new line when they cast over one another and i cut 25 yds of new braid off.
No charge for cutting the zip ties & plastic wrap off of the new combos.
When you book your trip with the office they tell everyone what is and isn't included and fees.
