When a cop announces himself no it's not wise to open the door with a gun in your hand even if it is your right. It immediately escalates the situation and you get what you get as a result. If you got pulled over and brandished a gun even if legally allowed to do so do you not think that unwise ? I get the wanting to draw a line in the sand over your rights but a gun is a tool designed to kill and even if within your rights can and most likely will be taken as a threat.

Anyone who doesn't get this is too fricking stupid to get out of the rain, and I mean obscenely stupid. And this is coming from a guy who owns guns meant for self defense and has a concealed carry permit.
What sort of a-hole answers his door at 430 in the afternoon, knowing there's a cop on the other side, with a fricking gun in his hand? Who the frick does this shite? Goddamn, the absolute stupidity of it. It's utterly shocking.

Any proof of this? I see a cop intentionally trying to obfuscate that visual confirmation.

This keeps being said but doesn’t matter. I was in the military and was on shift work constantly. Some of you plant baws know know all about working mids. We know this dude was FaceTiming his gf, but why is it just assumed that everyone in their home works a 9-5 or is totally awake mid afternoon?
That shouldn’t be assumed by the fricking law man.
