consider the weight of the inaccuracies/liberties versus the true words and statements

Just false.

quote:

“Because they believe like I do. They believe in the institution. We can’t let the Congress be stuck. We have to save the world. If we allowed chaos and stagnation to interrupt the people’s work, then Iran could have fired nuclear missiles at Israel. China would take over Taiwan. Russia would take over Ukraine and push through Europe.”

Only two slight exceptions to what I wrote above:

He didn’t specifically mention Russia and Ukraine like he specifically mentioned Israel and Hamas/Iran and China and Taiwan but he did specifically mention “hot wars right now” which obviously includes Russia and Ukraine and used those wars in the context of how Congress can’t be stagnant but must be involved.

The other slight exception was he said “save the country” not “save the world” but if you listen to what he is saying, how we must be proactive in these wars and how Congress must be active regarding them, it is absolutely clear that he is saying the US must be the world’s policeman.

And he specifically said Democrats believe like he does, that they believe in the institution, that Iran could launch nukes at Israel if Congress isn’t proactive, etc. It’s all there.

So stop carrying this guy’s water.

So then you took the liberty of inserting your own interpretation of some of the most significant (and heated) aspects of the interview and Johnson’s statements. Why not just let the exact words speak for themselves? What’s the purpose of editing the interview?

Seeking accuracy and truthfulness does not equate to “carrying water” for anyone or anything. It’s a sad state of affairs that it could even be seen as such.
