Do you understand he only gets on base 29% of the time when he plays against SEC pitching. Feast on midweek pitching famine against conference pitching.

The point Thompson was making is their high level defense makes up for a weaker bat. Especially at important positions like catcher and centerfield.
Example is would you rather Braswell have 20 pt lower BA and not lead SEC in errors??
