re: Idiots still voting for haley

Perhaps where I erred in my comment was using the word "right". Sure we all have the "right" to vote for who we want and maybe I mistakenly inferred that the OP was advocating to remove the "right" of people to vote for someone not currently seeking that office but what I meant, I believe was that the OP seemed to be saying that people shouldn't do it whether a right or not. Seemingly because it's silly to vote for someone who is for all intent and purpose not in the race. However this doesn't hold water because many states allow for the possibility of write in candidates that do not even appear on the ballot.

Perhaps some see that as "wasting" a vote, but other may say that it's no more wasting a vote than to vote for a candidate that is projected to win by a landslide. And in the end a voter's only voice is their vote so...
