I’ve heard from several people of different colleges that football team players beat basketball team players in a pickup game of basketball quite often.
I’d bet money on nfl players are better in nba than nba to nfl.

I’ve lived quite the opposite. I played on a fraternity intramural basketball team that beat then-active LSU football players in the open league playoffs. There was a thread in it back in the day.
Very few of them were fluid enough to be considered good basketball players. They were bulky and could run and jump but they weren’t fluid like good basketball players are.
