Obviously, the hinge needs to be adjusted.
1 year old, call the installer.
Dont try yourself. Those panels are heavy as frick.

I adjust mine all the time. That heavy glass slides in the rubber gasket.
Make sure to support the door (I recommend an air bag pump shim thing like I’ll link below). Have it a little open or closed so when it’s loosened it doesn’t lean on the fixed panel.
Loosen the top screws on one side of the hinge just enough so the door becomes movable.
Pump shim up until door has an equal gap top to bottom
Tighten screws as reasonably tight as you can without stripping them
Release air from shim and remove.
With a 9’ door I would have someone standing there just holding the handle of the door to not let it move. If it was a shorter door you could have one hand on the handle and use the other to do the screw work but you’ll have to be on a ladder for 9’.

Curious: is that glass tempered?
Posted on 5/6/24 at 9:37 pm to White Bear
I’ll answer for him: yes. any glass within 5’ of a shower or tub has to be tempered per building code.
Additionally in a home, pretty much any doors with glass on them must be tempered and any windows within 24” of an opening (such as a door) must be tempered. There are other criteria but that covers most normal glass situations.

I'll tell you if you or your wife take a pic with your tits pressed against it for us.
Will be funny one way and obviously appealing the other. I'll let you decide which.
Honestly though, nice shower. Was that a tub to shower conversion?

You can adjust those hinges OP. The above with the air shim is a great post. Here’s the issue though, if it’s only been a year they may have made that gap between the glass panels too small. I had this issue in a previous home, they only fabricated the gap to be under 1/4. As said those panels are very heavy, depending on the movement they aren’t hard to adjust just heavy and if your gap is very small you are only talking a really small adjustment. It may take a glass professional to do it is what I mean. It’s much better to have a slightly larger gap and have a plastic strip that seals the gap. That way you have more room for adjustment.
Tempered glass can’t be modified.

Curious: is that glass tempered?
Back in the late 60's, the next door neighbor walked over to our house. She didn't notice the back sliding door being closed. She walked through it, a chunk of glass was stuck through her side. Yes by code, those type glass are tempered.
Kind of like a car glass, that breaks into a million pieces.

OP - You make me feel good about the amount of shite my wife has in the shower. Thanks.

The glass is slipping out of the hinge. Its very common especially with a glass this large. Like others have said shim the bottom so the glass doesn't move, then you'll need to loosen the hinge plate to get it back in place. You need 2 people for sure. I would personally call whoever installed it before I did that myself.
I've worked in a glass shop for 20 years just not as an installer.

My parents had their bathroom redone ten years ago. The glass door like that didn’t shut right and my dad diagnosed the problem that the glass was upside down, and flipping it and reattaching the hardware would solve everything.
So at Christmas he drags my brother and me in there. We get the glass door down, flip it, and I was holding the glass while they reattached the hinges. Something got torqued just right and the entire door instantly shattered in my hands.
My mom heard it and didn’t even come check on us. Just got up and left the house to go shopping for a while.

My wife is on a 40 year quest to find the right shampoo and conditioner.
Hasn’t found it yet.

Problem is, the glass is made with cut outs (I believe) for the hinges. And once it’s tempered, you can’t cut or drill it.
