Whoa! Where did that come from? You guys are hilarious sitting behind your keyboards. You've never heard a shot fired in anger and you are calling men, who are daring their lives, cowards because they won't face certain death by standing in the middle of the street.

The reason you are in error is because your vocabulary or your imagination is insufficient to the occasion. There are negative words to describe their conduct - words like "evil". But you reflexively go for "coward" even when it has no bearing.
