Ended up working as a night auditor on the weekends, at a hotel. Zero social life!

shite, that may have saved you. NA is shitty (based on /r/talesfromthefrontdesk), but vets that get to go out on weekend nights until 0400 seem to be far more damaged in the end.

If it makes you feel any better... Tranny shite going on at night, whatevs for the most part. Watching 6' dudes with wigs, stubble, dresses, and heels eat breakfast on a Sunday at a Farriott in Leeds (UK) was ... well, I had to ask the concierge where actual women went so I could people watch, and I sort of got a shrug.

You're giving a great example of how to teach younguns how to analyze their options so they don't jump from the frying pan into the fire. I did it recently over the age of 40, and I'm fine with an aneurism. I never trust the company I'm quitting (usually with reason) and trust the company I'm moving to too much. The amount of lies I've gotten about consulting pipelines are absolutely astounding.
