I think you're being unrealistic saying he could be the next generational player like Tiger, Jack, et al. That's literally all I've argued.

Btw there may never be another Tiger. Probably won’t be.
And now you say this. You're a weird guy, lord

Again, let me help you with reading comprehension. Initially responded to this post:

A champion will rise.
Scheffler is accumulating majors. Maybe he’s the one. Or Aberg. Or Rahm. Or Cam Smith.
It’s obvious Scheffler is the best golfer in the world right now. He, Burns, Rahm, Cam Smith, Bryson, Morikawa, JT, Spieth are in the group of 27-30 year olds.
Aberg & Joaco are in the next wave of young talent. I simply wanted to point out that Niemann should be included as he is an equal level of talent. Try to keep up next time
ETA: Tiger won 8 times in 99 at the age of 24, including his 2nd major. I’m definitely not arguing that Aberg or Niemann are on that level, but either of them could go on to win multiple majors & become a superstar for the sport.

You listening to Monahan's BS about Bankruptcy is like me listening to mom n pop coffee shop owners saying they can't compete with Starbucks. If Monahan had been more transparent with the tours books like Phil wanted, then we wouldn't have the chaos that we have today!

I'm not the one who needs help my man. Again, you're arguing something with me I haven't even tried to argue. please stop trying. I don't really care to have this conversation nor have I even made you think I was trying to have this conversation with you.
I made a simple comment that golf needs another Tiger/Jack/Arnold type, You responded, to me, that Neimann could be that guy but the establishment doesn't like him. That's a bullshite comment. That's the beginning and end of what I care to discuss. Neimann is not on that level, and will never be on that level, establishment hating him or not. Is he a good golfer? Yes. Could he potentially be a top 10 level talent? Sure. Has he done anything to make me think he's going to get close to double digit major wins? No. That's the bar I'm talking about. There are a lot of good young golfers. There have been for awhile. But to make your mark as the best golfer of a generation, you need to start putting major championship trophies on your mantle and a lot of them.
That was the whole point of my initial post. There have been several golfers over the last 15 years win several at a young age then fell off. Maybe let Neimann win, or even finish in the top 10 in a major, before you needlessly insert his name in that discussion.
Thanks

yet, I'm still staying on topic of my argument. Weird how that works right?
You, on the other hand....

The only argument I’ve made has been regarding Niemann & Aberg. I’m not sure what point you’re even trying to make, nor do I care.
I think you’re stuck in some weird “I’m right, you’re wrong” loop. Good luck

He’s a top 10 golfer in the world right now, not top 90. He is the best player on LIV this year after 7 events. Better than Rahm, Koepka, Cam Smith, etc He’s finished top 10 in 6 of those top 5 in 4 Won twice Are you really that ignorant?
That’s fine. Your argument that he’s the next Arnie, Jack, or Tiger is I’m sure what most people find funny. Not saying he can never get there, but he’s got a lot of steps to take before he even gets close to that conversation.

Jim doesn't get my argument, though. I'm just trying to be right or something

Niemann has played in 20 majors. 1 top 20 finish, best finish T16.
Aberg has played in 1 major. He finished in solo 2nd.
Again, not saying Niemann can’t get there, but you’re acting like LIV is on the same level of difficulty to win as signature events when in reality, they’re about as difficult to win as the RSM Classic.

I’m not sure why this keeps getting confused.
Someone else included Scheffler, Rahm, Cam Smith, & Aberg.
My only point has been, if you’re going to include someone like Aberg, then Niemann should be in the conversation.
Thats it. Never claimed he’s the next Arnie or Jack. Simply that he’s just as talented as someone like Aberg but the golf establishment has made it much more difficult for him.

Until the top 70 players in the world are playing together at Wells Fargo, Thailand Open or wherever the combined tours PGA/LIV decide to schedule tournaments then we will debate this and waste alot of time and energy . Why is no one bitching on here about Adam Scott and Webb Simpson getting sponsor exemptions into Signature events just because they are on the policy board....they have gotten into last 4 of them...without merit!!!
Posted on 5/7/24 at 4:25 pm to Poppy201
No one that we know will be the next Tiger, Arnie or Jack. That person probably hasn’t been born yet.

What a true American story. You can be a druggie that wastes elite god given talent to the point of almost killing yourself, then with zero hard work or redemption you can get handed millions to be one of the worst in your venture week in and week out for 2 days of social media care
True beauty

Oh, it’s an absolute joke that they’re getting in these events. I don’t mind Adam Scott’s as much as Webb’s based on actual golf, and Webb’s for this tourney in particular actually kind of makes sense with his ties to NC. But it’s a joke to get into each one of these solely because you’re on the board.
