Comparing a movie based on an 80s Lee Majors TV show to Guardians of the Galaxy is a stretch. Barbie aside I am also not sure Gosling is a consistent big box office draw.
How does it compare to the A Team movie or recent Charlie’s Angels?
I am surprised “The Phantom Menace” was 2nd and made 8 million in just over 60% of the screens as The Fall Guy. Phantom Menace is awful.

A Team movie
Very underrated…sure there was crazy stuff happening but the acting and dialogue were great. One of, if not the best, remake of an old TV show out there. Very entertaining.

i would say it compares favorably to A-Team and the (not as recent, but the 00s) Charlie's Angels pretty well.
similar plot/characters and enough member berries, but funnied it up a good bit from the source materials.
The A-Team was honestly what i thought of it best comparing to. not award winning but fun and rewatchable.
to whoever said "Gosling isn't a box office draw" his last movie to not make $100mm was The Nice Guys and that's his best in the same stretch to be honest.

Who is? Tom Cruise, maybe Leo? That's about it. I think it's time to drop that argument.
