Wet basement floor… ideas?

Our basement is split into 5 rooms, one is mostly unfinished with the hvac and storage.
We have rugs on the floor of the storage room and I got a soggy greeting earlier today.
No leaking plumbing, not wet lumber in sight. No movement at meter when water is off, I don’t think we have a leak.
No hvac or water heater leaks. Bone dry by them.
No moisture on walls or at the sill joints where floor meets wall.
It’s just in the middle of the floor.
No hoses left on against the foundation.
We had a ton of rain last night and I noticed that the gutters look clogged with all those damn pollen packet things. Is that realistically a possibility that this is?

Is there anywhere that that water gets next to your foundation in a heavy rain? I have heard of capillary action of a crack on concrete drawing water through a slab in that instance.
Though, I guess you would know this.

We've lived here for almost 10 years, had no issues with rain. The only thing I can tell is that perhaps the gutters are clogged somewhere and it's something new.
There have been no changes to the grade or anything. This wasn't even the heaviest rain or biggest amount of rain.

I don't do concrete any more, lol... but when I did I had an engineer for hydrostatic questions

This is an LSU football board. No one knows what a basement is.

We can sometimes have 2 inches of rain and no water in the basement, then we can have a half inch and might get a little bit. Issue is our front of house and improper draining on the front yard
