How ‘bout…
I know a guy who works down at the Bryan/College Station batting cages. His brother-in-law is a welder who specializes in rare alloys. He hooked up with the guy who drove Schlossnagle’s nephew’s travel ball trailer. Word on the street is that Schlossnagle has been buying illegal juiced bats since his days at TCU. The trick is gallium alloy in the barrel. You can heat it ever so slightly before the weigh in, and it passes when ordinarily it would be rejected. Cheating with science.
