One factor that was not in place at the trade deadline are the 2nd apron teams looking to shed salary. Hopefully they can find an alternative path.

Also, I'm not sure how this will impact BI's trade value or the Pels decision making processes, but Paul George apparently is headed to Free Agency.

So he wants 4/$220M and the Clippers have reportedly offered him slightly less than that.

Sounds like PG wants to maximize his earnings and this is his last chance for that huge contract.

If he's declining his $48M for next year to sign a new deal, sounds like the Sixers and Magic have already told him they'll offer the full max to him.
PG....your money goes a lot further in Florida than it does in California.
