Yep. I don't know the solution, but a roofer walking down a street claiming every house has damage after a storm really can't be 100% right.

Depends on how old the roof is- when they inspected my 15 year old roof, the guy said "Oh yeah- you've got hail damage" before he even got on the roof.
The people that get a new roof EVERY TIME IT HAILS are the ones really taking advantage. Sure, you got a few pock marks, but you 100% don't need a new roof.
Side story- the house we lived in 16 years ago had a 30 year old roof when we bought it. I drove by last week- still the same roof
