I mow about an acre with my EGO 7.5. great mower. I do about half of the yard lately on a single battery because it's growing so fast and that burns the battery faster when chewing through high grass but I have 3 other batteries from various ego tools so I either throw the 5 in and keep going or take a damn break for some ice water and do a little edging while the battery is recharging because I'm on a hill and I get tired after I'm halfway done.
The key to long life is not letting the grass get too tall. You can almost double the acreage you can cut on a single battery.

Don't let these negative posts sway you.
No need to drop $700 on one.
