I mean, there are morbidly obese Methodist preachers. They’re just as big of sinners as gay people are.

But the only sins most church goers care about are abortion and being gay. Adultery, gluttony, greed..those don’t count the same. At least that’s my experience. They’ll give you the “we all sin” speech, but they won’t tolerate a gay person or someone who admits to having an abortion in their church (they’ll make them uncomfortable if not outright ask them to leave). Family full of lardasses, unmarried couple who live together, rich a-hole who hordes his money and uses it to buy nice shite he’s very proud of..all welcome.

Don't forget the drunks. Never met a priest who didn't enjoy an alcoholic beverage or 12 on occasion. Cannot imagine Methodist preachers are all that different.
“And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit.” Ephesians 5:18
"Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God." Galatians 5:19-21
