they kind of lost me here. Other than a some shade of a powder blue jersey, these uniforms look nothing like the Houston alternates

The Houston alts don’t really look like the Oilers unis either. That’s why they brought them up. It’s a color scheme. The NFL doesn’t own the rights to generic stripes or random color combos.
