The fact that these non-stories have been manufactured into the perceived biggest threat/story in the US right now should tell you something.
Hell, there was even a thread about counter-protesting, and guys like Bongino were apparently promoting it.
I guess the fake "anti-Sematic" rhetoric didn't work and escalation is needed to keep the perceived threat level up.
