I built them and installed them myself because a local company quoted something like $1800 to do about half of what we wanted to do. They are 5' panels. Used a knock off sunbrella type fabric, 3/4 inch EMT and a 12 volt 15 RPM gear motor. We have 2 sets of 2 on one side and 1 set of 3 on another side. I built a remote control speed controller for them and they work like a charm. The only issue is I have rare earth magnets set at fixed distances to keep them from blowing in the wind which means you have to attach and detach them when you roll them down or up and they have to be at those heights instead of being variable height . I have come up with several ways to keep them in a track where they could stop anywhere along their travel but I haven't done any of that. I started off using a drill motor and a bit extension to run them up and down but that got old. All in I have less than $600 in them not counting my time. a good bit of that is trimming them out to hide them when they are rolled up. There is a bunch of youtube videos on it....thats how I came up with it. Ours work good. They aren't like the full aluminum ones but they do the same thing and look good.
