This really bothered me that they kept lying about this to the supporters, it has to increase just like it doubled in Zachary and Central. I don't necessarily think that this would of negatively affected the support either if they just would of been transparent about it. It made me think they were either liars or never made a real budget.

No one knows this. No one knows how many students they might get. Private schools are far more prevalent in SBR than in Central or Zachary.

And I don’t believe school taxes doubled in either ISD. But to raise taxes the people have to vote to do it, and I’d feel better voting with my neighbors on school taxes and not voting on new taxes with all of BR.

I am referring to increasing property taxes if St. George gets an ISD. As to the current incorporation, which does not include an ISD, St. George is projected to run a surplus in Year One.
