At least the northshore has a 20+ mile bridge between it and the south shore. Crime has trouble crossing that bridge. With BR and st G there’s not such a dividing line. Crime will still infringe and if the city implodes then crime will get worse.
On principle I agree with St G. The people wanted to change something they acted on it voted on it and won. It’s the most American process ever.
With that said I have worries about the long term
