It is only a big deal because Trump, and the media's loathing of him. If Don dropped all prospects for political office, J6 would be memory holed, and all charges against Trump would be dropped. You know that as well as I do.
Protestors entering the Capital is hardly a new thing. Just the first one for a cause that Dems don't like, in support of someone the media REALLY doesn't like.

These Palestine protests are facing similar sensationalism, with dishonest "antisemitic" memes thrown in for good measure.

I just don't give a shite about Palestine or Israel. . .so I have tuned it all out.
Seems like Hitler vs Stalin. . .with the left telling us Stalin is good, and the right are split between them.
