The absolute biggest thing is daily SPF in your moisturizer. Cumulative sun exposure is hell on your skin. Ideally use one with mineral sunscreen. It's pricier than chemical but I don't like the ingredients in chemical. I use one that's tinted so I don't get that white cast on my face.
Besides that, washing your face in the evenings and changing your pillowcase regularly will be the next steps. From there you can get into the weeds with hyaluronic acid, retinol a few times a week, etc. Start with the basics though.

I would say not to be afraid of the sun. It's extremely good for you. Your diet (seed oils) plays a big role in how the sun may or may not damage your skin.

Im pretty much doing everything listed here. About to add a red light face mask to my routine as well. Good stuff.
