Just stop please. You want to blame a coach for not starting a unproven player? Johnson said MULTIPLE times that Larsen would play this season and he is playing.
Fall stats for a true freshman do not mean it’ll translate. You know what you have in Pearson, Bingham, Kling and others before a true freshman. It isn’t like he is pitching.
With that, none of the aforementioned are hitting like they should. As for Neal, he is like a redshirt freshman. He was more of a known quantity than Larsen so I can see why he was put in right.
What else don’t we know? Injury? Grades? Or some other reason he was being held out.
