“After her father's death, Honey West takes over his high-tech private-detective firm, assisted by rugged Sam Bolt--and her pet ocelot Bruce.”
Anyone remember this one? Worth watching?

I bought the dvd series-set of "Honey West" when it came out about 15 or so years ago. The show is a little on the ridiculous side, a little on the banal side, yet overall still manages to be pretty breezy and agreeable. Helping the series hugely is Anne Francis in the lead, who is such a likeable, endearing actress, as well as the half-hour running time, which allows it zip by quickly before you get too annoyed at some of the wacky self-conscious 1960s-ish modness, and vapid plots. Ultimately, I look back upon the series with a fair fondness, but would be a little wary about recommending it to people.
The series was spun off from "Burke's Law," which, however, I never cared for too much.. Gene Barry was awfully smarmy in the lead, and the structure of the series, allowing for big-name guest stars to appear as suspects and witnesses, all mugging for the camera, got to be quickly tiresome. Things got even worse when it was retooled into a spy show, "Amos Burke - Secret Agent" during its last season. I have those on a bootleg disc-set, and could never quite get through them all.

Thanks for the info. This is what piqued my interest. Don’t see it streaming anywhere. Maybe Roku?
