Kwan just shat all over a 3-2 pitch from Sale and sent it to the chop house to start the game

Braves by a hundred thousand trillion.

Been looking forward to this one for a while. My son still watches the Indians, so I get to hear about them constantly. The thing that has changed the most with them is their hitting has improved significantly under Vogt. They typically play small ball, with Jose Ramierez and Josh Naylor being capable of going deep at any time. They are aggressive on the base paths and look to steal bags as much as possible. Tonight Hedges is catching, and he is fricking abysmal as a hitter. As bad as he is of a hitter he is equally as good as a defensive catcher. Rocchio is fast, as is Kwan. Their bullpen typically uses three folk, all with different arm angles. I can’t remember the 3/4 arm slot guys name, but he is fun to watch. I grew up wanting to be Dan Quisenberry, so I enjoy a good odd angle pitcher. Josh Naylor is the ‘hockey enforcer’ on that team, for sure. His brother Bo is quieter and a much better hitter than Hedges. The whole team hustles almost all of the time. Ramirez is the catalyst for that.
I’d give my left nut to have Kwan play LF for the Braves.
Should be a good series.

Sale has given up leadoff HRs three times this season. Weird stat considering how good he has been for the most part otherwise.

Riley and Olson lead off an inning by getting on base… we have to take advantage of this rare occurrence

That interference call was huge.
Allen keeps missing on the left handed batters box side. His pitches been tailing that way a good bit of the time. I don’t know if it is intentional or not. His count is up to 75 after four innings. Not how you want to start a series on the road in Atlanta, burning through the bullpen. Cleveland finished a series with Boston yesterday, so no rest day.

The Braves have made them pay for each mistake. Keep pouring it on!

That had to feel good for Olson

Chris Sale looks so much better than he has in awhile. I think a change of scenery was good for him.

He’s been shaky at times this season but man the guy is a workhorse.
A 4ish ERA is more than ok when he’s going 6-7 innings every time out

What a fricking outing after the first batter and having 40 pitches thru 2 IP.

I think Matzek might be washed.

He is struggling, for sure.

I mean, I know he’s been out a long time, so you have to give him time and a fighting chance to get right, but it’s been tough so far.
