Very pleased to hear this news today. Although I live in the city of Baton Rouge, it was BS that these folks weren’t being permitted to incorporate. Laughable. Glad their legal rights were upheld. Will be better for EBR in the long run.

It would be interesting to know how much EBRP taxpayer money was spent trying to usurp the will of the people who voted for the creation of St. George. St. George should be reimbursed for their legal costs in fighting the unlawful denial of their legally obtained rights.
This was a classic battle of the people vs. The Swamp. The people won. The Swamp needs to pay. Unfortunately the Swamp pays with our tax dollars. It’s a real bad system
