I can only speak for myself, but I post to push back on stupidity.

Populism makes people really stupid. It made the left stupid for decades and now it's making the base on the right just as stupid.

BC probably doesn't object to Trump nearly as much as he objects to the Cult. In other words, y'all.

I can get along with Trump, although he's not my first or probably second choice. He'd be much better than Biden and it's easy fr me to be grateful for that.

But the trend of the base having become so stupid and paranoid and unthinking and having abandoned all core principles, that scares me.

Trump is done after this cycle, win or lose. But the descent of the base into a low-IQ, paranoid, senseless, easily manipulated, emotionally reactive, conspiracy addicted, bunch of cultish sheep is going to be with us long after he leaves.

Again, the left has been this way for decades. The right is surging in this direction as hard as they can. If you guys succeed, there will be no adult left in the room to stop a complete breakdown.
