Maybe not criminal evidence per se, but certainly unflattering information that could damage the incoming administration. And maybe he had nothing and Biden merely feared he did. From what I've seen, that's all this group of goons need to motivate more lawfare.

This is the most likely explanation IMO.
The problem is that his having it WAS illegal, and they have a recording of him admitting it.
IMO this is the strongest charge they have against Trump.
