If she likes days off because it drizzles outside then send her to Mt Carmel. They never freaking go to school. Couple weeks ago they were the only school in the city to shut down because it was supposed to rain. And when all schools take a day off, they always take two or three.

Do you not remember how bad that was in Metairie and most parts of the city that day? To be fair to Mt Carmel, they sit in a low area and it doesn't take much for those streets around there to fill up with water. I've seen the girls have to wade out to get to their cars several years ago. Not really a chance worth taking.
