I will be curious to see what they say on this. It has been my understanding that Presidents dont have “full immunity” but are exempt from the court system. All charges leveled at the sitting POTUS have to go through Congress via the impeachment process and referred to the courts if needed after that. This is all about the balance of power built into the Constitution.

Constitutional scholars feel free to correct me if I am incorrect.
