They are better than LSU/ better players overall , did it look like LSU wanted to be there? They wanted to be at Tigerland or wherever they go because it sure wasn’t the game they wanted to be at. I will go back to what I was told by a travel team coach who has had players at LSU, the culture is bad, there is nothing hard that they do..it’s all easy..practice is easy.. workouts are easy, no accountability, they aren’t coachable for the most part, they hit how they want, they field how they want, they miss cuts when they want..the inmates run the show so to speak..if all that’s true and that’s what I was told is there any wonder after the big time players left there has been a precipitous decline??

I don’t know how true or untrue that is, but one thing is certain: Beth Torina is the least impressive “winningest coach in x sports history” at LSU.

It was a bit of an eye roll though I understand you have to make a nice PR campaign to tout her “success”. For someone as young as she was with so much promise I’d have never guessed we’d be so average for 8+ straight years. All while holding LSU’s feet to the fire for raises.
