Color me skeptical some sophomore at A&M thinks he’s plugged into the fanbase more so than most other alumni. Just because you and your buddies are sitting around in Math 142 talking aggie athletics doesn’t mean it’s what most of the powerbroker alumni want.
As someone said in the other thread, it’s certainly possible A&M is hearing an offer from the big 10, we’d be dumb to not have a conversation with them if they’re interested. Just like any person on this board would likely take an interview with a different, as prestigious job, you’d be a fool not to.
Doesn’t mean we will jump, you don’t move jobs for a 5% raise. Big 10 likely isn’t going to offer us something that’s substantially better than what the sec does. Why move to a geographically separate conference for 3 million more a year or whatever?

Let me let you into a little secrete. 12 years ago I predicted Texas would end up in the SEC over on texags. NO ONE agreed with me. I repeated it several times over the years. I don't recall anyone thinking what I said held any water because the stupid idea of the gentleman's handshake

$100 says he is not an Ag, either.
If he is who he says he is, and the age he claims, he can answer the following questions:
1. What and where was the Fish Lot?
2. On game day, how did you reach Kyle Field from the West?
3. Who had Green parking stickers and who had Red?
4. What theater played Rocky Horror every weekend, and where was it located?
