Social media is harming the way we are wired as a species.

Women are somewhat more socially bounded so the trends and mindsets they experience online have a greater impact than it would for an average male.

I won’t speak to online dating beyond the other factor which has been scientifically noted which is that women only appear to be interested in the top quartile of men and view a pair match of a statistical equal from a looks perspective as unattractive.

That sounds innocent enough but spread across a population is enough to cause absolute chaos if our assumption is that every potential male is supposed to find a mate. I would point out that’s not how it works in other species, but that’s a separate conversation.

Women's secretly want ape Society where the females breed with the top males while the entire Community raises the children. Problem in humans is that the lower males will revolt.

That might be outdated… not everyone might get a mate and that should enhance the experience for the ones who do
