Best coach ever at LSU ?

NOT the best winning percentage, but the coach who did the best coaching in tough times or with less talent than the other team.

Dale Brown. He did better with mediocre talent than he did w/superstars.

Dale Brown and Skip Bertman....

they both put LSU on the map in their respective sports.

I think Saban was best at getting players to learn other positions, but best overall coach????

I can't go back to the older days but I think Dale Brown and I guess I would say Coach Bertman too.

If you want to talk about overall contribution to LSU and LSU Athletics it would be Skip Bertman.

the only undefeated coach in LSU history, he never lost a game while being the head coach LSU.....EVER!
