Not like they haven’t already been doing this but now they’re trying to codify it into law.
Guessing so they can try to use it as evidence without it being thrown out.
The Supreme Court needs to do its duty and strike down this Nazi bullshite.

Someone needs to file a lawsuit as soon as that bill gets signed into law. It is a clear violation of the Fourth Amendment.

Now? No.
It's been this way for a long time. Last renewal was in 2018, it was approved widely by Republicans and signed into law by Trump.

That’s a formality.
I guarantee that if a US citizen, within the confines of our country’s border, placed more than five select words in any comm during the last twenty years, said citizens home would be visited by dark blue windbreakers in short order.

Yea, they write those little games that get auto downloaded to your phone in a suburb of NoVa.

But don't worry! Mike was assuring us that Jim Jordan wrote a bunch of reforms that will keep them in check... Because they always follow the rules... Clowns.
4 hop rule still in play. I haven't heard any of the pundits mention that when saying citizens can only get swept up when communicating with foreigners.
With contractors (and AI?) searching databases of comms, anyone in the country can be targeted.

Who believes that we were not being spied on long before FISA?
Telling us publicly is more transparent than it used to be. Some might call that an improvement.

Maga Mike caved in the house.
Trump endorsed swamper Katie Britt voted for it in the Senate.
