It's little dick syndrome. I'm a runner that lives in an upper middle class suburb. I run all throughout my cookie cutter, boring neighborhood every day and almost every driveway has one or more over compensating, obnoxiously large 4x4 trucks with aftermarket EVERYTHING. And they're usually lifted with massive off-road rated tires.

Come on, just stop. You all live in a gated subdivision on your .25 acre plot of land with an HOA and a community pool, just like me. You're not hauling hay bales or moving cattle or pouring concrete every day. You're in a cubicle, working on spreadsheets for accounts receiving.

I guess they need the $90K oversized truck to convince themselves they're real men despite the fact they may use the bed twice a year to move a larger than normal Costco grocery run.
