anything is fixable if you have the skill to do it or know a guy, thats why its good to make sure your list of friends includes a carpenter, mechanic, welder, and a guy that knows electrical stuff

Thanks for the advice from the O-T, I was able to get it working. The compressor is running and it is cooling.
I replaced the 2 modules that connect to the compressor and the thermostat switch. I found these universal parts online. I didn't know exactly what parts were bad so I replaced all 3. My cost was only $26.
