And that's what they are counting on.

My friend group discussed this at our Monday Morning Breakfast. None of us could name two WNBA teams. That is the core problem.

My daughter's high school has a "good" girls basketball team - one that competes for state titles and has D1 signees every year it seems.

I went to pick her up from a game and it was running behind so I went in and watched most of the second half. It was one of the most brutal displays I have ever seen. The only thing that made it interesting was that the game was close.

Missed open layups, loose balls going out of bounds, lazy passing. The product is awful.

There isn’t a huge pool of talent for girls BB.

One player can make a mediocre team great but the second they leave, you have teams who are scoring 3 points a game because they can’t replace the star who left.

It's a difficult truth. I watch the LSU ladies play, and Angel Reese's offensive post play is horrible. Shooting underhanded so close to the goal, slinging the ball up hoping it goes in, or dribbling into defenders when no dribble is necessary are just a few things that drove me crazy watching them play. Not all lady players have those issues, but it just shows that the quality is poor. Apparently having enough size and athleticism (even if unskilled) is enough to be a college player. Sad. And this is coming from a fan.

You weren't enthralled by the 37 jump balls, resulting from the inability to jump causing rebounds to be swatted around until one girl finally falls on the loose ball and sits indian-style on the floor until another girl ties her up?

The possession arrow flashes back and forth so fast, it's a danger to people with epilepsy.

It’s a game, not a product.
