We need to be taking control away from the state, not giving more control to the state.
And yes, that means that liberal cities will have crappy DAs elected by their liberal, crappy citizens.
Prosecutorial discretion is a big problem, but it seems like every solution is even worse.
And part of the discretion issue is because, what's the point of proseuting if the judge is going to give a slap on wrist?
