Rumors are that he had a healthy scratch mentality. Something similar to the same way Jalen Cook carried himself on the basketball team. Most likely the separation was mutual.

Diggs was a very good back but you can't act like this.
Many people have said he was told to look around.

He supposedly told Frank at the FSU game in warmups...I am not feeling it so not playing. Very "me first" attitude.
