Not an attorney, the concussion would have me concerned about the long-term affects. I’d consult w a medical professional before talking to an attorney to discuss the severity of the concussion, and any potential long-term effects. Based on that consultation, I’d consider an attorney to make sure insurance doesn’t try to drop check me
I’d also look into if the car insurance will cover a new car seat for her daughter. I have heard that most companies will offer a replacement car seat if a child is involved in a MVA as there are too many “what ifs” that could compromise the integrity of the car seat.
