Assuming that the felony charges filed include prison time, does anybody else have a problem with this women going to prison for this?

At 17 years of age it would not have damaged my psyche one bit to have been this woman's sexual partner, assuming I engaged voluntarily and without coercion of any kind.

I'm not saying it's behavior to encourage or condone. I get that if it's a teacher-student thing that a power differential has been exploited. Someone should be fired, of course, in that situation.

But prison?

What exactly is the damage that she's being punished for?

It's easy to say that now, as a 17 year old, I'm not really that sure. I might have passed, hoping she has a 20 year old daughter that had the same taste as mom.
