Thankfully it's not a big CGI show. The boats aren't so bad imo, but this is 10 years old now so it's getting a little dated as far as CGI goes. But was definitely on the good quality side for it's time and budget. It's not a CW show or Wheel of Time bad.

Overall the series has really good acting. Charles Vane's character took me some time to get used to because his deep voice is just weird and he did come across as not a great actor. But the deep voice distraction wore off for me. The prostitute Max has a really odd voice, I'm not sure what that accent is. But she's hot so I don't mind it.
